Warner Bros, the studio that developed Batman: Arkham Origins, has tendered an apology to fans, acknowledging some of the game's severe bug issues and also revealed they are working on a patch that will be out "within next week".
In a blog post on the community page, the studio said, "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you all for your patience as we work to resolve the issues."
It also updated the players on the fixes which are on the way, saying, "The team has been working around the clock to review, validate and pinpoint the problems that have been reported..."
The studio has mentioned that they are aware of the problems that have been encountered by the players in Arkham Origins as they have been reading all the posts that they players have put across in the community page.
The studio also highlighted some the serious problems that many of the gamers faced, with one being "Infinite Falling or Falling Out of World". This issue has been identified where gamers find it difficult to complete the mission as they are stuck in an endless loop of falling. The studio is presently testing the update for this, and once released it "will push most players back to their previous save."
Second issue is the where players are "Unable To Continue Story." Though players see in the main menu that their story has progressed, when they chose the story slot they are unable to find the "Continue" option and only the "New Game" appears. This too is being resolved, Warner Bros said.
It has also promised fixing the "FreeFlow Focus" mode which does not unlock, when players have reached the "Shadow Vigilante" rank 3.
The studio recently released a patch for the PC version of the game, to fix the above problems and also for the block in progression, while navigating through Burnley tower's vent.
Warner Bros also noted couple of issues in Xbox 360, namely corruption of the saved games and recurring crashing and freezing when the game is going on. It has also requested players to have their PC connected to the internet, to receive updates when released.
However, the company has not mentioned any fixes for the Wii U version of the game. The game was released on 25 October.
