Publisher Warner Bros. IE has released new screens showcasing silent takedowns, flaming buildings and villains for its upcoming side-scrolling 2.5D brawler game Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
This game is a spin-off of the console version Batman: Arkham Origins, being made for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Mark Pacini, the game's director, had named this as the companion game for the console version. This game will follow the events that unfold in the original Arkham Origins.
Arkham Origins brings in a younger and raw Batman, who has to win the confidence of both police and people. We will also see Batman taking on the villains inside the Blackgate prison.
Arkham Origins Blackgate will release on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita alongside its console edition on 25 October. The European version of the game has been delayed.
