Batman's archenemy, Joker has been rumoured to be confirmed in the upcoming video game Batman: Arkham Knight that will be the final of the Arkham series.
Joker is the supervillian who has been portrayed in many Hollywood movies by actors of high calibre including Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.
A new report on Arkhamverse hints at the possibility of Joker being in Arkham Knight. It points at the March availability of "Joker Deluxe Latex Mask."
Rocksteady Studios, the developers of the game, have previously told that the Joker had died. Joker had appeared in Warner Bros' Batman: Arkham Origins.
Though it can be argued that Joker might just be used as a marketing ploy by companies to pull customers, there is always a possibility about his involvement in the game.
The report also offers an interesting theory on Joker, where one of the images shows a Scarecrow Delux Later Mask and Gloves. So this could mean that players can expect a Joker's appearance too in Scarecrow's gas that leads to hallucinations.
Another theory is that there could be a possibility of it being mislabelled however, since the release date are same as that of Scarecrow products, the mask could be from Arkham Knight itself.
However, there has been no official information on Joker's participation in Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be introducing a more powerful villain for the first time, Arkham Knight. The game will also be feature a playable Batmobile. It is scheduled to roll out on 2 June, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
