Both Barun and Surbhi recently had a photo shoot to promote the show. When contacted by India Forums, Surbhi confirmed the news that she and Barun are part of the web-series, but maintained that the show is in its initial stage. "Yes, I am doing a web-series with Barun but nothing is finalised yet. We have shot a photo-shoot for the same, but things are not yet confirmed," Surbhi told the entertainment-portal.
The "Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon" actor was recently in news when reports of him being roped in to play the lead in a finite series surfaced. Produced by BBC, the thriller show tentatively titled "Satya Ki Kiran," will see Barun playing the role of a cop named Satya. Barun will be seen romancing actress Shivani Tomar, who will play the role of a con girl named Kiran.
Surbhi, on the other hand, is on a break ever since "Qubool Hai" went off air. The actress recently made a special appearance in the Holi sequence of Zee TV's "Kumkum Bhagya" along with other popular celebrities.
In other news, actor Nakuul Mehta, who rose to fame with the role of Aditya Harish Kumar in hit show "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara," has also produced a new web-series. Titled "I Don't Watch TV," the web-series will showcase the day-to-day struggle of the TV actors in a satirical manner. It will give the viewers a different perspective on what actually goes on behind the cameras.
