Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Barfi" is creating quite a thunderstorm at both the Indian as well as overseas box office since its release in September.
The romantic comedy has kept the cash registers ringing into its third weekend and is Ranbir's biggest hit in the international market.
"#Barfi is Ranbir Kapoor's biggest Hit in Overseas ... *total after 3rd Weekend* UK £ 622,039 [Rs 5.30 cr] ... USA $ 2,462,008 [Rs 12.89 cr]," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"#Barfi *total after 3rd Weekend* Australia A$ 361,434 [Rs 1.98 cr] ... New Zealand NZ$ 62,111 [Rs 27.16 lacs]," he said.
On the domestic front, the film collected Rs 9.15 crore in its third weekend and on Monday it collected Rs 2.5 crore taking the overall total to Rs 98.8 crore.
Tuesday's box office collection is not yet reported, but Adarsh said that the critically- acclaimed movie already has joined the Rs 100 crore club today.
"#Barfi [3rd Week] Mon 2.5 cr. Grand total: 98.8 cr nett. Crosses 100 cr mark in India today. Bravo!" Adarsh tweeted.
"Ranbir Kapoor joins the much-famed 100 cr Club today with #Barfi. And this is @priyankachopra 's second ton this year, after #Agneepath. Wow," he said.
"Barfi" is Ranbir Kapoor, Ileana D'cruz and Anurag Basu's first film to enter the elite club, while for Priyanka this is her second movie after "Agneepath".
Meanwhile, Barfi is the fifth film this year to reach the 100 crore club with other films including "Agneepath", "Housefull 2", "Rowdy Rathore" and "Ek Tha Tiger".
