The government-owned Bank of India on Monday reported a loss of Rs.1,126.24 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal.
In a regulatory filing with BSE, the bank said it has posted a net loss of Rs.1,126.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30 against a net profit of Rs.786 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The bank's total income decreased from Rs.12,099.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 to Rs.11,317.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
Bank of India's gross non-performing assets went up to Rs.29,893.67 crore at the end of the second quarter this year from Rs.14,127.09 crore as on September 30, 2014.
