While Nargis Fakhri had her fashion game on-point in a beautiful Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna dress for "Banjo" promotions, "Dance Plus 2" team apparently had a problem with her plunging neckline.
The crew instructed Nargis to pin up her dress as "Dance Plus 2" is a "family show." When the actress didn't relent, the director said they cannot air "brazen skin show" for a family audience, Mid-Day reported.
While off-sets Nargis wore the dress the way it was supposed to be worn, for the show she had to cover up her cleavage. Riteish Deshmukh too was present on the sets and appeared thrilled to be a part of the show.
What do we know about the film?
"Banjo," directed by Ravi Jadhav, is about street musicians and their fight to get recognised at a large scale. Riteish worked hard on the instrument — banjo — and Nargis learnt a bit of Marathi for her part, but the actor insists that the real heroes are the composers — Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravijani.
"Banjo the name itself is that of a musical instrument. If music isn't good then the film fails. The composers Vishal-Shekhar have done a wonderful job. They are the backbone of the film," Riteish elaborated.
Trivia: This is Riteish and Nargis' second film together after "Housefull 3."
Produced by Eros International, "Banjo" stars Dharmesh Yelande, Mohan Kapoor in supporting roles and is scheduled to arrive in theatres on Sept. 23.
