The Bangladesh cricket team might have won admiration with their tremendous display in the ongoing ODI series against India, but their fans' behaviour towards Sudhir Gautam, the famous Indian cricket fan was not on the same lines.
Sudhir Gautam is one of the most passionate fans of India cricket as he travels all around the world to support his side, sporting a tri-colour paint on his body. But, Gautam suffered an unfortunate incident as he was attacked by Bangladeshi fans after the first ODI in Dhaka.
Gautam's autorickshaw was attacked and also pelted by stones, which throws a bad light on Bangladeshi fans.
Gautam told ABP Live about the incident, where he stated that the Bangladeshi fans were taking revenge for their World Cup 2015 quarterfinal loss to India. Two policemen came to his rescue, but as they made Sudhir Gautam sit back inside the autorickshaw, stones were thrown again at him.
These fans did not stop their attack and even continued to tear the auto rickshaw cover as well. Such embarrassing behaviour was uncalled for, especially as Bangladesh were doing the talking on the field against India.
India have already lost the ongoing ODI series after losing their first two matches.
Sudhir Gautam can mostly be spotted with the Indian flag in his hand, irrespective of where India play, and is known as the number one fan of the India legend Sachin Tendulkar. More than being a cricket fan alone, he is a celebrated one as well, after being invited into the dressing room following India's 2011 cricket World Cup victory.
