Barring Comilla Victorians, all the other six Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) teams have played nine matches each, and this is the last week of the round robin stages of the competition. Most of the teams have a chance to book the top four positions, which will allow them a passage to the Playoffs.
Here is a look at two matches, which will be played today in Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

Comilla Victorians vs Barisal Bulls
These two teams have been below par in the BPL 2016, as Victorians lie at the last position, and Bulls are just one rung above them. Victorians are already out of the race, and Bulls' chance of making it to Bangladesh Premier League 2016 are slim, but both these teams will hope to script a win on Tuesday.
The Victorians have won only one match in Bangladesh Premier League so far, which is very disappointing for the defending champions. The Victorians have failed as a unit in BPL 2016, but this match gives them a chance to earn some consolation points before the group stages comes to an end. Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza will be keen to see all his players do their best against the Bulls.
The Bulls started on a decent note as they were in the top half in the initial stages of the BPL 2016, but five losses on a trot have left them embarrassed, and in lower half of the standings. Mushfiqur Rahim needs to encourage his troops, who must be down after such poor performances of late. The skipper will need assistance from experienced stars like Thisara Perea and other players to help them emerge victorious.
Chittagong Vikings vs Khulna Titans
Matches like this one, with two quality teams at the top half of the table fighting to move up the table, make the BPL 2016 interesting. Titans can climb to the number one spot with a win while Vikings can move to the second place if they emerge triumphant.
The Vikings started slowly, but they are in the groove now with four straight wins. They are not short of confidence, as their star player Chris Gayle is back. He scored an impressive 40 runs against the Riders in their last match. His presence will strengthen the team, but their bowlers like Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Nabi have to deliver.
The Titans have been one of the consistent teams, winning six games so far. Their batsmen and bowlers have played as a unit in the competition so far, but with all other teams searching for victories, including the Vikings, there is a serious need for their big players like Mahmudullah, Junaid Khan to step it up more and help the team cross the finishing line.
