The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2016 is in its mid-stages, and each team will now try to push one another to reach in the top four. Only these teams after the round robin stage will feature in the knockouts. Some teams are in good shape, while some have to pull up their socks to make it to the list.
After two rest days, the BPL 2016 is back, with two important games in Dhaka on Friday.

Rangpur Riders vs Rajshahi Kings
The Riders and Kings lie on two opposite poles of the standings. Riders stand on top, while Kings are the second last team in the points table. Teams have found it tough to beat Riders in BPL 2016 and they suffered only a single loss. The Kings, on the other hand, have lost four matches.
In such T20 leagues, consistency is the key, and the Riders have been doing that with their batsmen and bowlers turning up the heat when required to help win crunch matches. They have a strong batting-line up, which includes Mohammad Shahzad, Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun, who will be up against the Kings bowlers. They also have the experience to outsmart these batsmen.
The Kings will depend on Mohammad Sami, Darren Sammy and Mehedi Miraz with the ball, while their batsmen must have gained confidence after chasing 183 runs to defeat Dhaka. Can the likes of Samit Patel and Umar Akmal destroy the Riders' bowlers?
Barisal Bulls vs Khulna Titans
The Titans have been the other brilliant team in BPL 2016, winning five and losing two so far. They can continue their impressive record with a win over Bulls, who are in need of a victory to move up the table.
However, the Titans have to get back to their winning ways after their loss to Rangpur Riders in the last encounter.
Their opener Andre Fletcher has been poor, and the right-hander is testing the patience of the team management, who could drop him if he fails once again. Other Titans' batsmen also need to convert the start into meaningful scores else the Bulls might take advantage.
The Bulls lost their last head-to-head match to Titans, and this match could act as a chance for revenge for the former. For that, they will need their skipper Mushfiqur Rahim to lead from the front, score runs, and also players like Jeevan Mendis and Thisara Perera and Taijul Islam have to contribute in their respective departments.
