Producer Jayanna is game for his next big project Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya, which is releasing on Friday, May 19. The movie starring Shivaraj Kumar and Vidya Pradeep is releasing big across Karnataka.
Talking to International Business Times, Jayanna says, "We are all excited about Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya. The movie is releasing in about 250 screens in Karnataka and another 50 outside the state," On asking whether he is nervous about the prospects, "I have overcome such state of mind after being in the industry for decades. But I must admit somewhere there will be a little nervousness like every producer before the release."
The producer says that the farmers are the backbone of the country. "Our ancestors were farmers, so are yours at some point of time. In this way, the film is connected to one and all. Apart from throwing light on the farmers' plight, there are many other interesting aspects in Shivaraj Kumar's film. It has a right mix of all the elements that will attract all sections of audience," the producer says with confidence.
Jayanna also clarifies that his movie has no links to Kannada classic Bangarada Manushya. "The story of our film is entirely different. But the values that the film presents might be somewhere similar," he points out.
The successful distributor and producer ends on the note that he would like to settle down as a farmer at some point of time in his life, thereby bidding goodbye to film industry.
Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya is written and directed by Yogi B Raj. The film has V Harikrishna's music, Jai Anand's cinematography and Deepu S Kumar's editing.
