Already a hit, the yet-to-release Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer "Bang Bang" reportedly has an interesting twist to it.
Touted as the official remake of Hollywood action comedy "Knight and Day" starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, the film apparently only borrows its central theme, and that the rest of story is built on imagination.
However, according to recent reports, Roshan's Rajveer Nanda will be stealing a diamond in the film.
"Although the makers have tried to keep it quiet, the recent buzz doing the rounds is that Hrithik will be stealing the Kohinoor in Bang Bang!" a Miss Malini report stated.
Since Roshan has done a heist film earlier ("Dhoom 2"), pulling off a robbery shouldn't be tough for him. Also, because it's a bad guy-good guy film, a little has been revealed about Danny Denzongpa's role as well. "Danny, we hear, plays the character of Omar Zafar – a menacing, unrelenting evil force who will go to any lengths to get what he want," added the report.
Letting in on Harleen Sahni's part in the flick, Kaif pointed that it is different from what Diaz played in the film. "Since Sid had to adapt it for Indian audiences, the character changed a lot, and there wasn't a huge scope to do that. He was quite clear about what he wanted," Hindustan Times quoted the actress.
Set for a 2 October release, the film promises to be an entertaining ride from start to finish and will feature Jaaved Jaffrey and Denzongpa in key roles. Peppered with stunning action chases and one-of-its kind stunts, "Bang Bang" boasts of a few online records already. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller will reunite the smouldering lead pair after Zoya Akhtar's "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara".
