After mesmerizing the world with their amazing dance moves in "Tu Meri", "Bang Bang" stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif are all set to pay tribute to Michael Jackson in their next video, which will air mid-September.
According to reports, it will be the film's title track and has been choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser.
Director Siddharth Anand, who is working with Roshan and Kaif for the first time, is quite thrilled about the video. And going by the viral nature of "Bang Bang" videos ("Tu Meri" song), it's hard not to be excited.
"I won't call it a tribute or a copy. But it definitely has the trademark Michael Jackson moves, Once the song was ready, we played it to Hrithik and he quipped, 'Hey, this is typical MJ!' That's exactly the kind of reaction I was looking for. It's a first for him and Katrina too. We are not doing the moonwalk but it will still be a treat," Anand told Mumbai Mirror.
It is understood that the director came up with the idea of making a Michael Jackson-esque video, and has been closely working with music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravijani.
Being a huge MJ fan, this was probably the least he could have done, he pointed out. Though there will be no moonwalk (MJ's signature step), the dance will reflect the legendary singer's styles.
Slated for release on 2 October, "Bang Bang" is the official remake of Hollywood blockbuster "Knight and Day" (2010), starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. High octane action sequences and a smoldering lead pair are two good reasons to watch the action-thriller.
