The clash between Junior NTR's "Nannaku Prematho" and Balakrishna's "Dictator" seems to be heating up.
A report on Sakshi says that the feud in the Nandamuri family is spilling over to films in the form of the clash between Balakrishna's "Dictator" and "Junior NTR's "Nannaku Prematho". It claims that attempts are being made to ensure that NTR's film gets lesser screens in order to benefit Balayya's flick.
The article directly accuses people in the ruling party of misusing their power for personal gains. It points out that the theatre owners are being forced to screen Balakrishna's "Dictator".
Balakrishna is the sitting MLA from Telugu Desam Party, elected from the Hindupur consistency and the brother-in-law of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. The star is also the uncle of Junior NTR. It is no secret that Balayya and Junior NTR's families are not on good terms.
However, their differences until now had never been an issue for film industry as they worked without affecting each other and never brought their personal issues into the film industry.
Four Telugu films like "Nannaku Prematho", "Dictator", "Soggade Chinni Nayana" and "Express Raja" are releasing for the Sankranthi festival. Among the four, Junior NTR is expected to get maximum screens due to good pre-talk. It is a family entertainer directed by Sukumar and has Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead role.
"Dictator" directed by Sriwasss is an action-masala film, which has Anjali and Sonal Chauhan in the female lead roles.
