How often do we see Bollywood stars appreciating Kannada movies or songs? Rarely, isn't it? And so, when Salman Khan recently praised a Kannada song, it came as a pleasant surprise.
Yes. Salman Khan has appreciated "Ka Thalakatu Ka Full" song from Darshan starrer "Mr Airvata", which was released recently. He posted the video link on his Twitter handle and wrote, "For all my darlingggg fans n followers. Darlinggg is such a superb song. Haina?"
Salman Khan's tweet has got a thumping response from his followers. Even though they could not understand the language, they have watched the clip and appreciated the song. This clearly shows the star power of Sallu bhai.
Music director V Harikrishna was overwhelmed by the appreciation. "Proud moment for me in my career as Music Composer .. Thanks #Sallu Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan @dasadarshan @Dbeatsmusik," he tweeted.
Bollywood actress Mahek Chahal has danced in the item number, which has been crooned by Indu Nagaraj and written by Yogaraj Bhat. Challenging star Darshan and Prakash Raj are also part of the track, which is one of the biggest chart busters of 2015.
In recent months, Salman Khan has got good coverage in Kannada media due to his association with leading Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh, who was one of the producers of his blockbuster Hindi movie "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
Coming back to "Mr Airavata", the Darshan and Urvashi Rautela starrer was released on 1 October. The Kannada film directed by AP Arjun opened to mixed reviews.
