Shahid Kapoor's impending wedding with Mira Rajput has been in the news for a while now. There may not have been any official announcement on the event as yet, but the "Haider" star's ex-girlfriend kareena Kapoor Khan says she would attend the big day, if invited.
The Bollywood actress, who has kickstarted "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" promotions, is no longer awkward talking about ex-boyfriend Shahid. After signing a film ("Udta Punjab") with him, she now spills the beans on knowing about the big news since months now.
"I definitely will attend it if I am invited," she told DNA, adding, "Shahid had told me about his marriage much before the media broke the news. I am really happy for him and I wish him a happy married life."
The cold vibe they once shared has clearly disappeared now. Saif Ali Khan has signed "Rangoon" and will be seen sharing screen space with the "Vivah" actor for the first time.
Sonakshi Sinha, who was rumoured to have dated the suave actor for a brief period, is another actress who is keen on attending his wedding. "If Shahid invites me for his wedding to Greece, I'll surely go. Who wouldn't want to?" she told The Times of India. Sonakshi further said that she had wished her co-star at an event recently.
"I wished him when we met at an event recently. I'm very happy for him. It's high time he got married," Sinha said.
In other news, "Udta Punjab" is a three-track film and doesn't require Kareena to be in the same frame as Shahid. "It is a three track film. So yes, we aren't involved romantically. I did not have any scenes with Alia or Shahid. But we are part of the same drug drama," she explained.
