Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is doing wonders at the overseas box office. First, the film shattered the opening weekend box office collection record of "Kick" in just two days, and now it became Salman's biggest opener at the overseas box office.
Starring Salman, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui Harshaali Malhotra, the film was released in 700 screens globally on 17 July. And from opening day, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" managed to break several records in international markets.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" helmed by Kabir Khan has minted $8 million (Rs 50 crore) in just three days from the overseas box office. "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is now Salman's highest opener internationally beating the previous records created by "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Kick".
"#BajrangiBhaijaan does PHENOMENAL biz internationally. Opening weekend: $ 8 million [₹ 50.89 cr]. Salman Khan's BIGGEST opener," trade analyst Taran Adasrh added.
By adding the opening weekend box office collection, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has earned more than Rs 150 crore in just three days of its release. After adding the 3rd day box office income the film minted Rs 102 crore at the domestic box office and overseas opening weekend collection stands at Rs 50 crore.

The film was also released in Pakistan during Eid, and it opened with positive reviews. Though the income from Pakistani box office is not yet updated, Twitter buzz says that the film opened on a very good note.
Several shows of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" have been booked until 27 July at Pakistani box office. Pakistani television journalist Chand Nawab, whose character inspired Nawazuddin in the film, talked about the response "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has received in the country.
"Do you know that all shows of the film have been booked in advance till July 27? People can't get tickets for any of the four daily shows at all halls in Karachi. And so many people have been calling me to tell me they enjoyed watching the character inspired by me," Nawab told Hindustan Times.
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, whose film "Bin Roye" was released during Eid, tweeted about "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". Also, actress Humaima Malick tweeted about the release of Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
