KV Vijayendra Prasad, who had penned the stories of blockbuster movies like Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan and SS Rajamouli's Bahubali, is said to be ready to work on a Tamil biggie. The writer is reportedly working on the story of Vijay's 61st film, which is likely to be directed by Atlee Kumar.
Rumours are rife that KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is the father of leading filmmaker SS Rajamouli, is working on the story and screenplay of the film, which is being referred to as Vijay 61. It is said to be based on a mass subject, which will have universal appeal. Atlee Kumar is said to be the front-runner to direct the film.
Atlee Kumar had worked with Vijay in Theri, which had turned out to be a hit at the box office. He had expressed his wish then to team up with Ilayathalapathy again, prompting reports that the two were teaming up for a sequel to Theri.
However, Atlee now seems to be getting ready to work with Vijay in a different project altogether. The shooting of the movie, which is reportedly produced by Sri Thenandal Films, will commence in January 2017. Other details about the flick are under wraps now.
Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with his upcoming movie, Bairavaa. The film unit is currently shooting some important portions in Hyderabad. The filming of the Bharathan-directed project is expected to be wrapped up by next month.
The film stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Aparna Vinod and Jagapathi Babu are playing important characters, and Daniel Balaji, Sathish, Mimi Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra and others will be seen in supporting roles.
The makers plan to release the movie on the occasion of Pongal in 2017.
