"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Baahubali", the biggest money spinners of the year, have forced the makers of Bollywood movie "Bangistan" to delay its release by a week.
"Bangistan" is one of the big-ticket movies of 2015, made with a whopping budget. Starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat in the leads, the movie was earlier scheduled to be released on 31 July. Its promos had generated lot of curiosity among the audiences and the makers had planned to release the movie in a large number of screens across the globe.
But "Bangistan" faced a big threat from "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which released in theatres on 10 and 17 July respectively and have been doing superb collection at the box office. Due to unprecedented demand, the makers of these movies are not in a mood to withdraw them from theatres and make way for "Bangistan".
Another problem was that some new Bollywood films are slated to hit the screens on the same (31 July) and this made the job of finding more theatres "Bangistan" tougher for the makers of the movie. So they have finally decided to postpone it by a week and release it in cinemas on 7 August.
