Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" will soon become the most watched films of this decade, if it maintains its footfalls in India.
The box office collection of the film has declined as it is running in the fourth week, but surprisingly the film has maintained a good number of footfalls and it might even surpass "PK" numbers.
According to Box Office India, the ticket prices of the both the film were raised, but "PK" benefitted due to New Year holidays.
"The three week footfalls of Bajrangi Bhaijaan stand at a little less than 3.37 crore and PK finished at 3.50 crore. If we assume that Bajrangi Bhaijaan will have the same ATP (Average Ticket Price) in week four as in week three then it will be at 3.50 crore footfalls after four weeks," Box Office India reported.
Nevertheless, the film continues its box office collection in the fourth week and will manage to hold screens in its fifth week despite the release of Akshay Kumar's "Brothers".
Meanwhile, Salman recently revealed that the blockbuster film was first offered to his good friend and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, but the "PK" actor suggested his name.
"Aamir told me that KV Vijayendra Prasad had come to him and he sent him to me. So this is just Aamir sahab's generosity," Salman said at a press conference.
Well, thanks to Aamir now Salman has a film that has earned more than Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office and over Rs 166 crore at the overseas box office. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.
