'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' 20-Day Box Office Collection: After Aamir's 'PK', Salman Starrer Enters Rs 300 Crore Club

Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has touched the magical figure of Rs 300 crore in India. It has become the second film to enter the Rs 300 crore club, which was created by Aamir Khan's "PK".

While Aamir's "PK", which was released on 19 December, 2014, took just 17-days to create history, Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" made it to the Rs 300 crore club in 20-days. In 19-days, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" earned Rs 297.61 crore, and with its 20th-day income (Rs 2.45 crore), the film has taken its box office collection total to Rs 300.06 crore mark. 

"#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses ₹ 300 cr in India... 2nd film to achieve the ENVIABLE status, after #PK... 2nd HIGHEST grosser ever. Hindi films," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. 

"#BajrangiBhaijaan [Week 3] Fri 4.11 cr, Sat 6.80 cr, Sun 9.07 cr, Mon 2.75 cr, Tue 2.63 cr, Wed 2.45 cr. Total: ₹ 300.06 cr. ATBB," he added. 

Interestingly, on 5 August, 1994, Salman's "Hum Aapke Hai Kaun" was released and it went on to create box office records in India and in international market. And after 21 years, Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" entered into the Rs 300 crore mark on the same day.

Also, on 25 July, which marks the first anniversary of "Kick" release, Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" entered the ₹200 crore club.

Trade analyst Joginder Tuteja confirmed that "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has touched the magical figure of Rs 300 crore in India in just 20-days.

And with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Salman, Kareena and director Kabir Khan have also made it to the Rs 300 crore club. 

Interestingly, Salman's film took more than four years to enter the double century club, which was also created by Aamir's film. "3 Idiots" was the first film to earn Rs 200 crore net income at the domestic box office and Salman's "Kick", which was released last year, made it to the club with Rs 231.85 crore. 

However, Salman has created history this time as it entered into the Rs 300 crore club in just six months after the release of "PK".
