After Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore and Rs 300 crore, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is now approaching Rs 400 crore mark at the worldwide box office with its net income.
The film, helmed by Kabir Khan, has taken its 13 days worldwide box office collection total to Rs 394.22 crore and its just Rs 6 crore short of touching the Rs 400 crore mark.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" crossed Rs 100 crore in its opening weekend, Rs 200 crore mark before first week, Rs 300 crore in just nine days and now the film will touch Rs 400 crore in just two weeks.
Domestic box office
After having a stable 12 days run in India, the box office collection of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" dropped by 28% on second Wednesday, i.e. on 13th day.
The film minted Rs 7.10 crore on second Wednesday, which took its domestic box office collection to Rs 266.22 crore mark.
"#BajrangiBhaijaan [Wk 2] Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 19.25 cr, Sun 24.05 cr, Mon 9.30 cr, Tue 9.10 cr, Wed 7.10 cr. Total: ₹ 266.22 cr. ATBB," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Overseas box office
Internationally, Salman starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has raked in $2 million (Rs 128 crore) till Tuesday. The all time blockbuster film is going strong in theaters in India and internationally.
"#BajrangiBhaijaan Overseas crosses the magical number of $ 20 mn [₹ 128 cr]. FABULOUS!" Adrash added.
It has become the first film of Salman to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the overseas box office.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" tells the story of a mute Pakistani girl (played by Harshaali Malhotra) who is lost in India and meets Pavan (played by Salman). Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the female lead role, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of Pakistani journalist Chand Nawab.
