Royal, rich and grand, "Bajirao Mastani" is visually stunning. It sure has seen bad days for having allegedly represented the central character in wrong light, but the film has its heart in the right place.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's fierce avatars are two aspects that are working really well for the film as of now. Most viewers are drawn towards the way they are dressed so regally.

Also, every song released to date has had something interesting to convey. The "Pinga" number showcases Mastani and Kashibai's (Priyanka Chopra) camaraderie, whereas "Aayat" focuses on Bajirao and Mastani's heart-warming story.

Packed with action and laced with stunningly choreographed sword fights, this could be a film that would go down in the pages of history.

Since this film was conceived with Salman Khan in mind, it will be interesting to see if Ranveer does justice to the intense role. Some of his industry colleagues are already praising his performance.
