After a successful run at the Indian box office, "Bajirao Mastani" is all set to be released in Romania. The magnum opus, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, releases in Romania March 11.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the news and has also shared two posters of the film in Romanian language. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the dubbed version of "Bajirao Mastani" will reportedly be released in 15 screens across Romania.
"Bajirao Mastani" is one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful Bollywood films of 2015. The movie had bagged maximum awards in almost all the award shows. It made a box office collection of Rs 184.2 crore (nett) in the domestic market and Rs 361.89 crore worldwide, according to Bollywood Hungama. Titled as "Glorie Si Iubire," the film is set to enthrall the Romanian audience.
Ranveer played the lead role of Peshwa Bajirao in the film, while Deepika portrayed the character of Mastani and Priyanka was seen as Bajirao's first wife Kashibai. "Bajirao Mastani" was released Dec. 18, along with Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer "Dilwale."
Earlier, Salman Khan's blockbuster "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was also released in Romania, but the film's box office performance in Romania was reportedly poor compared to its other overseas business. The film collected Rs 2.44 lakh in its first week in Romania, according to Box Office Mojo. While "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was released in 12 screens, "Bajirao Mastani" will hit 15 screens.
