Priyanka Chopra's upcoming movie "Bajirao Mastani" will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" during Christmas this year and the actress is apparently unhappy about it.
Priyanka recently had a question and answer session on Twitter with her fans, during which the actress mentioned the clash as "unfortunate".
When one of the fans asked PeeCee to postpone the release date of "Bajirao Mastani", she expressed helplessness. "Not in my hands, unfortunately", replied Priyanka.
While the movie "Bajirao Mastani" will be released on 25 December, "Dilwale" is slated to hit screens just a week prior to that, on 18 December. Shahrukh Khan's films always create a huge craze and for "Dilwale", it will be even more, as it marks the reunion of onscreen couple Shah Rukh and Kajol. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Although there is a gap of one week between the release of "Bajirao Mastani" and "Dilwale", most of Shah Rukh's movies have a record of doing well at the box office at least for two weeks.
Moreover, SRK and Kajol's films have always done wonders. Hence, trade analysts are assuming that box office prospects of "Bajirao Mastani" might get affected by "Dilwale".
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" features Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, along with Priyanka. Ranveer plays the role of Bajirao, Deepika appears as Mastani and Priyanka as Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.
