Of late, there has been speculation whether Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor will be paired opposite Anushka Sharma in Yash Raj Film's next film.
It has now been revealed that Ranveer has been finalised to play the lead role in the big-budget project, reports Filmfare.
If the deal is sealed, this will be fourth time that ex-couple Ranveer and Anushka will be romancing each other on screen.
The duo had earlier teamed up for YRF's "Band Baaja Baaraat", "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl" and "Dil Dhadakne Do".
Apparently, the untitled film will be directed by YRF chief Aditya Chopra himself and will be a romantic one, just like all YRF films. Aditya had last directed "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" (2008).
Ranveer is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani" alongside Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma, whose last release was Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do", has a big project in her kitty. The gorgeous actress has signed Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, the shooting of which will start soon.
