India's leading two wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto Ltd rolled out its latest motorcycle Discover 100T on Monday with a price tag of ₹50,500.
"The all-new Discover 100T delivers the power of 125cc with the economy of a 100cc to bring in the joy of riding to this segment," said K.Srinivas, president, motorcycle business, Bajaj Auto.
The motorcycle which is powered a by 4-stroke 4-valve DTS-i technology engine machine is claimed to be the world's first two wheeler to come with 4-valve technology. The vehicle is expected to give a fuel efficiency of 87 km per litre .The engine comes equipped with a five-speed gear box. Other features of the vehicle includes DC lighting, auto choke, electric starter and Nitrox shock
"While 100cc bikes do offer good mileage, their style, features and performance leave a lot to be desired. The steady growth of the more expensive 100cc bikes at the cost of the cheaper models is a clear evidence of this."
The latest model form Bajaj will be pitted against other leading motorcycles like Hero MotoCorp's Passion and Honda Motorcycle's Dream Yuga.

With the launch of new vehicle in the market, the company aims to strengthen its market presence at the entry level segment. The company expects to sell around 40,000 to 45,000 units of Discover 100T per month.
