The launch date of Bajaj's powerful cruiser Pulsar VS400 is yet to be revealed, but the motor enthusiasts have already seen the bike in various states through spy shots and leaked images. The Pulsar VS400, which is popularly known as Pulsar CS400 (Cruiser Sport) is nearing its launch in the country.
Now a fresh batch spy shots of the Pulsar VS400 has hit the web and this time the cruiser was caught on camera during a photoshoot in Ladakh. In the latest images posted on Facebook by Binny Jacob, the Pulsar VS400 is seen virtually undisguised. Although we have seen countless number of spy shots of the Pulsar VS400 in its disguised and undisguised form, this is probably the first time the bike is seen in blue colour. Another interesting bit that we hear is that the VS in the new Pulsar stands for "Vantage Sport." The CS400 was the name of the concept that was shown at the Auto Expo 2014.
The motor enthusiasts in the country have been waiting for this Pulsar since then and the latest that we heard is that it is coming in August. Bajaj is yet to confirm any launch date of the VS400, but looking at the latest developments, we think Bajaj is ready for the launch of the new pulsar.
Bajaj Pulsar VS400 is expected to come in two variants -- with ABS and without ABS. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.7 lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
A previous report had said that the Pulsar CS400 aka VS400will be powered by a 373.27cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple-spark engine that develops 34.5bhp at 8,000rpm. The cruiser will get twin instrument console — one on the handlebar as seen in other bikes and the other on the fuel tank and wide tyres. It will get an all-black exhaust, newly-designed split seats, disc brakes for both wheels and alloy wheels with a new look.
