Bajaj Auto's Pulsar RS 200 motorcycle has been spotted in two-tone Red and White livery at a trade fair in Columbia. The colour combination suits very well for the motorcycle, but there is no information on the market launch.
In India, the RS 200 is sold in Demon Black and Yellow options, both of which come with contrast graphics. The Red colour, which was previously available, has been removed from the official website. Last year, the motorcycle was spotted at Indian dealerships draped in White colour without any graphics. However, the launch of White colour didn't happen for unknown reasons.
The new Red and White livery is expected to join the India portfolio during Diwali. This will keep the product fresh and help Bajaj capitalise on increased sales during the festive season.
The Pulsar RS 200 is powered by 199.5cc single cylinder, 4 stroke and SOHC 4valve, liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 24.1bhp of power at 9,750rpm and 18.6nm of torque at 8000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The other features of the Pulsar RS 200 include twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS and stubby exhaust, digital-analogue instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 1.21 lakh for non-ABS version and Rs. 1.33 lakh for ABS equipped version, ex-showroom, Delhi.
