It looks like Pune based two-wheeler maker Bajaj is looking to add a new shade to its colour palette. A set of images of the Pulsar RS 200 in new red and white body paint has started doing the rounds on the internet, indicating Bajaj may be considering this for the market soon.
Indian Autos Blog has shared the images, however, details of it are yet to be known. There are also reports that the spotted shade could be a customised model. The images of the Pulsar RS 200 are said to have been snapped at an export mart in Colombia. The Pulsar RS 200 was earlier spotted in white colour.
Offered in two variants -- with ABS and without ABS -- the Pulsar RS 200 is currently retailed in Yellow, Red and Black colour options. A previous report had said that the sales of the Pulsar RS 200 are currently not meeting the sales expectations of the company and Bajaj is re-looking at the marketing strategy of the Pulsar RS 200. The company may also consider launching new colours of the model to boost sales.
The Pulsar RS 200 is powered by 199.5cc single cylinder, 4 stroke and SOHC 4valve, liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 24.1bhp of power @9,750rpm and 18.6nm of torque @8000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The other features of the Pulsar RS 200 include twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS and stubby exhaust, digital-analogue instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars.
