It seems Pune-based bike maker Bajaj Auto is planning to expand its Pulsar RS 200 portfolio in India.
A new image of the Pulsar RS 200 donned in black and golden body paint, which is currently not in the colour palette of the bike, has hit the web, pointing to the imminent launch of the new variant in the country.
Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, which made its India debut in March, is currently being offered in two colours - Red and Yellow.
The latest spy shot, which comes from the Facebook group Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners, suggests that buyers will be spoilt for choice with the new colour variant of the Pulsar on its way.
In the images, snapped at a dealer outlet, the Pulsar RS 200 displays the 'Race Sport' and ABS badge along with the golden graphics on the tank. Apart from the change in the colour shade, there is nothing to suggest that there are other changes.
If the stories on the web are anything to go by, Bajaj Auto is likely to roll out the new colour variant of the Pulsar RS 200 in the coming days.
The Pulsar RS 200 is powered by 199.5cc single cylinder, 4 stroke and SOHC 4valve, liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 24.5 ps of power @9,750rpm and 18.6nm of torque @8000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Other features of the Pulsar RS 200 include twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS and stubby exhaust, digital-analogue instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars.
Offered in two variants, the Pulsar RS 200 ABS variant has been priced at Rs 1,30,000 while the Non-ABS costs Rs 1,18,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
