The new Pulsar RS 200 from the house of Bajaj has returned in a fresh batch spy shots ahead of its 26 March launch in India and this time we get a good look of the model because the images were taken right inside the plant.
Two-wheeler lovers in India have seen enough spy shots and reports about the soon-to-be-launched Pulsar RS 200 and ahead of its arrival, coming your way are fresh spy shots from Indian Biker's Arena.
Snapped inside Bajaj's Chakan plant, the latest images tell us that the model is all set to entice Pulsar fans who have been waiting to press the throttle of Pulsar RS 200. In the images, Pulsar RS 200 is seen in red and black colour body paint and look dispatch-ready.
Pulsar RS 200, newest in the 200cc bike segment will go on sale in India on 26 March. The model, which will also make its way into the Turkish market later this year is likely to get power from 199.5 cc single-cylinder 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out a 24.4 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.
Although it is confirmed that Pulsar 200SS will get ABS, it is still not clear whether the ABS will be optional or will come as standard fitment. The Pulsar RS 200 with ABS is rumoured to get a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh in India and the model without ABS is likely to be priced less than that. In the domestic market, Pulsar Rs 200, the fully-faired version of Pulsar Rs 200 NS will be pitted against Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200.
The dealers of Bajaj have opened the bookings for new Pulsar with a down payment of Rs 5,000 and we also hear that the delivery will commence from April.
