Even as the countdown has begun for the grand debut of the much-awaited Pulsar RS 200 from the house of Bajaj, fresh spy shots of the model have emerged online, adding to the long list of sightings before its launch.
The latest spy shots of Pulsar RS 200 come from BikeAdvice clicked at a dealer showroom in Bangalore, suggesting that the company has started shipment of the model to its dealers across India. Earlier last week, the model was spied at a dealer outlet in Kolkata.
In the images, the immediately apparent features of Pulsar RS 200 are silver footpegs, O-ring chain, stubby exhaust and a saree guard. A closer look at the picture reveals the new Pulsar RS 200 name 'Race Sport'.
Bajaj pulsar RS 200 is scheduled to make its India debut on 26 March and the dealers of the company have already started accepting the bookings for new Pulsar avatar with a down payment of ₹5,000.
On the basis of appearance, Pulsar RS 200 shares similarities with Pulsar SS 400, which was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2015. As for engine, Pulsar RS 200, the fully-faired model of Pulsar 200NS is likely to get power from 199.5 cc single-cylinder 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out a 24.4 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.
Expected to be priced at around ₹1.5 lakh, Pulsar RS200 will be coming to the market with ABS. In India, Pulsar RS 200 will rival Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200.
