The stage is all set to welcome Bajaj's new Pulsar RS 200 in India on 26 March (Thursday). The two-wheeler enthusiasts in the country have already heard enough about this new 200cc offering from the house of Bajaj and have a clear picture of what to expect on the arrival of the model.
With that in mind, now before Bajaj breaks the cover of its Pulsar RS 200 officially, coming your way is one last parting gift, spy shots of the new Pulsar avatar popped up on the Facebook page of superbikersleague. The latest photos clearly show Pulsar RS 200 ABS variant.
We have been tracking the progress of this new Pulsar RS 200 model through the innumerable spy shots and reports and now finally it's almost here. As you know already, Pulsar 200SS, the fully-faired version of 200NS is expected to get power from 199.5cc single-cylinder 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out a 24.4PS of power at 9,500rpm and 18.6Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
In terms of dimensions, Pulsar RS 200 measures 2,060mm in length, 750mm in width, and 1,160mm in height and comes with ground clearance of 165mm. The features list includes silver footpegs, O-ring chain, stubby exhaust and MRF Zapper ― S tyres.
In India, the Pulsar RS 200 'Race Sport' model is likely to be offered in two variants ― with ABS and without ABS. The model will be poised against Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 in the domestic market and taking it further the grapevine has it that the new model will be priced in the range of ₹1.1 lakh-₹1.5 lakh.
The bookings of Pulsar RS 200 are open in the country with an advance payment of ₹5,000 and the company, which is anticipating huge demand for its new offering has started shipping the vehicle to dealers across the country.
Bajaj Pulsar RS launch is scheduled for 26 March at 12:15pm and the coverage will be streamed live on the company's official site.
