If you have been thinking about the waiting period of Bajaj's new offering Pulsar RS 200, here is the answer.
We called a few dealers in Bangalore and they all confirmed that they have been able to keep the waiting period of Bajaj's new Pulsar RS 200 to a minimum even when it is getting good response from bike enthusiasts in the country.
A dealer told us that the Pulsar RS 200, which are booked, now command a minimum waiting period of one and half weeks and gets a maximum waiting period of two weeks. The Pulsar RS 200 can be booked with a down payment of ₹5,000 and the model is available in red and yellow colours. Bajaj aims to sell around 2,500 new Pulsar in the country every month.
Launched on 26 March, Pulsar RS 200 is powered by 199.5cc single cylinder, 4 stroke, SOHC 4valve, liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 24.5 ps of power @ 9750 rpm and 18.6nm of torque @ 8000 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The features of Pulsar RS 200 include twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS and stubby exhaust, digital-analogue instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars. It is the fully-faired version of Pulsar 200NS and competes against the likes of Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200.
Pulsar RS 200 offered in two variants-with ABS and non ABS. While the Pulsar RS 200 ABS variants has been priced at ₹1,30,000, the Non-ABS is priced at ₹1,18,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
