It looks like Bajaj has got it all right with its new offering Pulsar RS 200 in the Indian market.
There is an unprecedented demand for the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. The bike which is being billed as the fastest Pulsar, got 1,000 bookings in seven days of its entry into the market and still counting, according to a report by Zigwheels.
The Pulsar RS 200 can be booked with a down payment of ₹5,000 and the model is available in two colours - red and yellow.
The dealers said that they are trying to keep the waiting period of Bajaj's new bike to a minimum despite the great response it has generated from bike enthusiasts in the country. Pulsar RS 200 currently enjoys a minimum waiting period of one and half weeks and a maximum waiting period of two weeks in Bangalore.
Pulsar RS 200 at a Glance
Launched on 26 March, Pulsar RS 200 is powered by 199.5cc single cylinder, 4 stroke, SOHC 4valve, liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 24.5 ps of power @ 9750 rpm and 18.6nm of torque @ 8000 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The features of Pulsar RS 200 include twin projector headlamps, crystal LED tail lights, ABS and stubby exhaust, digital-analogue instrument cluster, split seats and clip-on handlebars.
Available in two variants, Pulsar RS 200 ABS variants are priced at ₹1, 30,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
