A sketch image of what is believed to be the upcoming Pulsar CS400 has been leaked online ahead of its probable launch in India during the third quarter of this year. MotorOctane has managed to lay its hands on the image of Bajaj Pulsar CS400, which is currently in its testing phase in the country.
The biking enthusiasts in India have already seen the Pulsar CS400 countless times through spy images and videos. The sketch images, which is now doing the rounds on the internet shows the design of the upcoming Pulsar 400 probably for the first time after it made its debut at the Auto Expo 2014. As we have known for some time, while the production version of the Pulsar CS400 remains identical to the concept, it does show minor modifications.
The Pulsar CS400 will get all-black exhaust and a newly-designed split seat along with new alloy wheels. The Pulsar CS400 is also expected to get twin instrument console — one on the handlebar as seen in other bikes and the other on the fuel tank and wide tyres. Other features expected include disc brakes for both the front and the rear. It is likely to feature LED headlamps, digital instrument panel and LED taillight.
Expected to be to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.7 lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the Pulsar CS400 is likely to draw power from a 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple-spark engine mated to six-speed transmission with fuel injection. In India, Bajaj is expected to launch the 400cc Pulsar in two variants — with ABS and without ABS.
