Bajaj Auto is expected to launch the new Pulsar (Cruiser Sport) CS400 in India in June. Ahead of its official entry into the market, adding to the long list of spy shots of the model, here comes yet another image of the Pulsar CS400, leaking more details.
Caught on camera by Powershifters, the new image of the Pulsar CS400 shows the model in its completely revealed form. However, it does show new seat design and the telescopic fork. It may be recalled that Bajaj Pulsar CS400 had upside down forks when it was showcased as concept at the Auto Expo 2014. Coming to the design of the model, the Pulsar 400 offering seems to have got the same styling of the concept to some extent.
Performance cruiser Pulsar CS400 has been built on the same platform as that of the KTM 390 Duke. It is expected to be powered by a 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple-spark engine and come mated to six-speed transmission with fuel injection. The bike, probably Bajaj's first offering in its new power cruiser segment, gets twin instrument console — one on the handlebar as seen in other bikes and the other on the fuel tank.
Likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.7 lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the Pulsar CS400 is expected to get features like LED headlamps, digital instrument panel, wide tyres and LED taillight. The bike is also expected to have disc brakes for both the front and the rear, while ABS may be offered as an option.
