Only a few days ago, Bajaj had previewed its much-awaited Pulsar 200SS in Turkey and now here comes the first-ever clear spy shots of the Pulsar sports bike, with its finished design.
The latest spy shots come from BikesIndia reader Shafqat Khan, who claims that the Pulsar was snapped in Turkey at a recent event. The images show Pulsar 200SS in its fully-revealed avatar and one may add that Bajaj has done a commendable job.
Visually, the Pulsar looks impressive with the diamond-shaped tail-light and the changes made to the exhaust.
Expected to reach Indian shores in early next year, Pulsar 200SS, the fully-faired version of Pulsar 200NS is likely to carry over the same engine as its sibling with a minor tweak to deliver better performance.
The current engine of 200NS has the capacity to churn out 23.52PS of power @9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque @8,000rpm.
There have also been rumours that pulsar 200SS could also get ABS option, but it is not clear whether the ABS version will come to Indian market. From the spy shots we have seen so far, Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is likely to come in blue-white, yellow-white and red-white combinations.
In India, Pulsar 200SS will take on the likes of Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 and if reports are to be believed, the bike will fall in the price brackets of ₹1.5 lakh.
Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts are also waiting to see the launch of its Super Sport 400 Pulsar (SS400) and the Cruiser Sport 400 (CS400).
Pulsar SS 400 and CS 400, which were first seen at the Delhi Auto Expo follow the design philosophy of the KTM Duke 390. Both bikes come with 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple spark engine under the hood and are mated to a six-speed transmission with fuel injection.
