As India await the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 200SS, a new batch of images of the bike has hit the web again.
Pulsar 200SS, a much-awaited offering from Bajaj, has been rumoured for an India launch for quite sometime now. The bike, which made several appearances on the web through leaked details and images, is now on the road again for testing.
The folks at Motoroids have managed to click a series of images of the bike, which was on a test run. Though Bajaj is still mum on the launch of the bike in India, the latest sighting is screeching the arrival of Pulsar 200 SS.
The upcoming bike is the fully faired version of Pulsar 200NS, which is on sale in the country. Under the hood, Pulsar 200 SS is likely to carry the retuned version of four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 200Ns. The 200NS is powered by a four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which has an output of 23.65 Bhp and a torque of 18.3 Nm.
Other stipulated features of the bike include digital fuel injection system, optional ABS, monoshock suspension at the rear, telescopic forks at the front and projector headlamps. The bike will be pitted against Yamaha R15 V2.0 and Honda CBR150R, and if rumours are to be believed, Pulasr 200 SS will carry a price tag higher than that of 200 NS. The motorbike is expected to reach the market around June/July.
Indian two-wheeler lovers are also awaiting the launch of Bajaj Pulsar SS400 (Super Sport 400) and Pulsar CS400 (Cruiser Sport 400). Both bikes, which made their debut at Delhi Auto Expo 2014, have received overwhelming response from two-wheeler enthusiasts.
An earlier report had suggested that SS400 would be the first to make the entry to the market, followed by CS400. While SS400 is likely to make its India debut around October 2015, the arrival of CS400 is expected only around April 2016.
