If you have been waiting to hear the launch news of Bajaj Pulsar 200SS, we got an answer for you. A new report emerged on the web claims that the Bajaj' much-anticipated Pulsar 200SS has gone into production at the company's plant.
The two-wheeler enthusiasts in the country have been drooling over this fully-faired vehicle from Bajaj for quite some time now. Now it appears like Bajaj is ready to end the wait for its pulsar 200SS soon.
The good chaps at Shifting Gears, who seemed to have gotten the piece of information from the reliable source report that the production of Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is in full swing and the launch of the bike could happen in near future as the company is looking to encash festive season.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SS, a fully-faired version of the company's Pulsar 200NS is expected to get the same 199.5cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single cylinder petrol engine, which is tuned to churn out 23.52PS of power @ 9,500rpm and 18.3nm of torque @ 8,000rpm.
The bike is likely to get features like digital fuel injection system, mono-shock suspension at the rear, telescopic forks at the front and projector headlamps.
We also hear that Bajaj will also offer optional Antilock Braking System (ABS). As far as pricing of Pulsar 200SS concerned, the bike will be priced higher than its naked sibling 200NS.
The report also adds further that Bajaj will be launching its Super Sport 400 Pulsar (SS400) and the Cruiser Sport 400 (CS400) in the country only in next year as the company's current focus is on the 200cc offerings.
Pulsar SS 400 and CS 400, the duo which gave us the first glimpse at Delhi Auto Expo follow the design philosophy of the KTM Duke 390. Both bikes come with 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple spark engine under the hood and are mated to a six-speed transmission with fuel injection.
We do not know yet the pricing of both the bikes, however rumours are rife that the Pulsar SS400 is likely to fall in the price range of ₹1.9-2.1 lakh and CS400 is likely get a price tag of ₹1.7-1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
