India's wait for Bajaj's Pulsar 200SS is likely to end soon. In what seemed to be a good sign about the launch of the bike in the country, the Pulsar 200SS has started reaching the dealerships of the company in the country.
A new picture sans camouflaged Pulsar 200SS has hit the web which is said to be captured at a dealership of the company. Although Bajaj is yet to announce the launch date of the Pulsar 200SS in the country, the latest sighting of the bike hints that the bike will hit the market soon. Bajaj is likely to debut the bike in early next month, according to Motoroids reports. Earlier last week also a set of spy images of the bike had surfaced on the web.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SS has been creating ripples among the two wheeler aficionados in the domestic market for quite a while now. The upcoming bike of Bajaj is the fully faired version of Pulsar 200NS which is on sales in the country.
Under the hood, the Pulsar 200SS is likely to carry the retuned version of four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 200NS.
The 200NS is powered by a four-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which has an output of 23.65 Bhp and a torque of 18.3 Nm.
Other stipulated features of the bike include digital fuel injection system, optional ABS, monoshock suspension at the rear, telescopic forks at the front and projector headlamps. The bike will take on the likes of Yamaha R15 V2.0 and Honda CBR150R in the sub continent and will be priced higher than 200NS.
Bajaj is also expected to launch its Pulsar SS400 (Super Sport 400) and Pulsar CS400 (Cruiser Sport 400) in India in coming months, which made the debut at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014.
