If the latest reports are anything to go by, popular two-wheeler-maker Bajaj Auto is readying an updated versions of its flagship motorcycle Pulsar 200NS. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, which is currently not being sold in India, has been spied undergoing testing in the country with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), suggesting the arrival of the model.
The motor buffs at MotorBeam have shared a series of images of the Pulsar 200NS snapped while undergoing testing on the outskirts of Pune in Maharashtra. Spotted in two different colours — yellow and white — the test mules of the Pulsar 200NS seem to be wearing new graphics, indicating styling updates on the model. However, the overall body proportion and look of the Pulsar 200NS is the same.
According to the original publisher of the photographs, while the one of the variants of the Pulsar 200NS was spotted with ABS, the other was a non-ABS version. The report also said the new Pulsar 200NS is likely to get the same ABS-layout as Pulsar RS200. Although rumours were rife that the ABS version of the Pulsar 200NS could get a Fuel Injection system, the spy shots indicate that it is not on offer.
Coming to the engine part, the new Pulsar 200NS is likely to be powered by the same 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit that develops 23bhp of power and develops of 18.3Nm of torque. Bajaj is expected to launch the Pulsar 200NS in the second half of 2016.
