Bajaj's upcoming Adventure Sports bike Pulsar 200AS has been caught on camera once again while undergoing its usual test run in the country.
Bajaj Pulsar 200AS, a model that is expected to be part of the company's 2015 line-up has been in news for quite a while now. The latest spy shots of the Pulsar 200AS came from folks at Motoroids who spotted the model on test in Pune alongside a few other test mules.
From the images, the bike is still seen hiding under camouflage and nothing much has changed from the previous spy shots. The new 200AS is a semi-faired version of 200 NS that is likely to make its India debut by mid-2015.
Rumours have hit the web that the new Pulsar 200AS will replace the Bajaj's ageing Pulsar 220F and the model is likely to fall in a price range of sub-₹1 lakh.
As for oily bits, Pulsar 200AS is likely to get power from the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine of 200NS, which is tuned to churn out 23bhp of power and 18.3Nm of peak torque, coupled to 6-speed transmission.
In another development, Bajaj has begun testing in what believed to be a lower capacity Adventure Sports bike in India.
Supposedly called Pulsar 150AS, the model is likely to get power from a 149.5cc single cylinder air cooled engine that is also seen in Pulsar 150NS at Turkish Motor Show. The engine has the capacity to churn out 17ps of power at 9,000rpm and 13Nm of maximum torque at 7,500rpm.
