As Pune-based bike maker Bajaj continues its launching spree with the next range of its 'Adventure Sport' Pulsar models, Pulsar AS 200 and AS 150, that made its India debut Tuesday, 14 April.
The new Pulsar 'Adventure Sport' duo have been designed to cater to the needs of buyers who are looking for affordable adventure bikes and the company has carefully priced AS150 and AS200 at ₹79,000 and ₹ 91,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
Pulsar AS 200
Built around the perimeter frame, new Pulsar AS200 draws power from the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out 23bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm, coupled to six-speed transmission. The model, which is based on the Pulsar 200NS, gets aerodynamic half-fairing, muscular tank, Extend windscreen and projector headlamp. Suspension is taken care of by telescopic up front and monoshock at rear.
Pulsar AS 150
Powered by 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is tuned to dish out 16.8bhp at 9,000rpm and 13Nm at 7,500rpm, Pulsar AS 150 features quarter fairing and projector headlamp.
Both Pulsar AS 200 and As 150 will be available in three colours: Blue, Red and Black; and is available for bookings with down payment ranging from ₹ 2,000- ₹ 5,000.
