It is a busy year for the Pune-based bike maker Bajaj. The company, which introduced its new Pulsar RS 200 recently, is now rolling up its sleeves to launch a series of new Pulsar avatars and one of them has been spied testing on the roads.
A fresh spy shot of what is believed to be Bajaj's upcoming Pulsar 150 AS has emerged online, giving a clear hint on the styling and design of the model ahead of its official debut. Bajaj Pulsar 150AS, a lower displacement Adventure Sport from the house of Bajaj, looks quite different from other 200cc models and is expected to make its entry into the burgeoning two-wheeler market in the next couple of weeks.
Caught on camera by AutoCar reader Priyank Chhapwale, Pulsar 150 AS is believed to be in its final test rounds before the market debut. It is likely to get power from a 150cc engine with CV carburettor. The transmission is likely to be taken care of by 5-speed gearbox and is expected to get telescopic forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear.
From a visual stand point, Pulsar 150AS is likely to get projector headlight, new alloy wheels and perimeter frame.
Bajaj is also readying a Pulsar 150NS model for the Indian market. Pulsar 150NS, a smaller sibling of Pulsar 200NS, will be powered by 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that can pump out a power of 16.3bhp of power at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 13Nm at 7,500rpm.
