Pune based two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto has silently launched the Platina Comfortec motorcycle in India. The Platina Comfortec has been priced at Rs. 43,241.
Bajaj Platina Comfortec, as its name suggests, has been designed to give more comfortable riding with 28 percent longer front suspension and 22 percent extra long double spring rear suspension. It also features spring soft seats and rubber footpads to ensure a comfortable ride.
Offered in three colours — red, black and blue — Bajaj Platina Comfortec claims to deliver a mileage of 104kmpl. It comes powered by the 102 cc DTS-i engine that makes 8.08bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.6Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. It is available in two variants — Platina 100 Alloy ES and Platina 100 Alloy KS. While the former is priced at Rs. 43,241, the latter comes with a price tag of Rs. 45,252 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The motorcycle features electric start and have a 10,000 km oil change interval and 5,000km service interval.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has also added two new colour shades to its Avenger Street range of cruiser motorcycles. The Avenger Street 150 gets Cosmic Red, while the Avenger Street 220 gets in Matte Wild Green. Bajaj Auto has priced the Avenger Street 220 Matte Wild Green at Rs. 85,497 and the Avenger Street 150 Cosmic Red is retailed at Rs. 75,50 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
