A new video of Bajaj's upcoming power cruiser Dominar 400 has started doing the rounds, giving enthusiasts a chance to hear the exhaust noise of the upcoming model. As we all know, there is absolutely no dearth for the spy shots of the Dominar 400, which has been on roads for testing for quite a long time now. But what is interesting about the new video is the sound of the upcoming Bajaj offering.
Now before you scroll down to take a look a the video, Bajaj Dominar 400, which is also known as Kratos VS400, has hit the assembly line at the company's plant in Chakan. The power cruiser, which will challenge the dominance of Royal Enfield in its territory, is expected to be launched by mid-December.
Dominar 400 will come powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple-spark, fuel-injected mill mated to a six-speed transmission. This is the same mill that also does duty in the KTM 390 Duke. The engine is expected to develop a power of 40bhp and 30Nm of peak torque in the Dominar. As for features, expect the Dominar 400 to feature conventional telescopic front suspension and mono-shock at the rear, twin instrument console — one on the handlebar as seen in other bikes and the other on the fuel tank, LED headlamp unit and MRF Revz C1 and Revz FC1 tyres.
Bajaj Dominar 400 will come with ABS. However, it is yet to be known whether the ABS will come as standard or optional. It is being said that the upcoming cruiser is likely to be offered in two variants. Coming to the pricing, Bajaj is expected to price the new Dominar 400 in the range of Rs 1.6 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh, ex-showroom.
