Pune-based two-wheeler maker Bajaj aims at selling 15,000 units of its newly-launched Pulsar Adventure Sportbikes in India every month as it targets to capture the affordable adventure bikes segment.
The company launched two new Adventure Sportbikes, Pulsar AS150 and Pulsar AS 200, in India on 14 April. Now, an Auto Car Professional report says that the company is targeting a monthly sale of 5,000-10,000 units of Pulsar AS150 and 2,000-5,000 units of the AS200.
Built around the perimeter frame, Pulsar AS200 and AS150 are priced at ₹ 91,550 and ₹79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.The Adventure Sport duo measure 2,070 mm in length, 804 mm in width, 1,205 mm in height, and 1,363 mm in wheelbase.
While Pulsar AS 200 gets power from the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out 23bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm, Pulsar AS 150 comes with 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is tuned to dish out 16.8bhp at 9,000rpm and 13Nm at 7,500rpm.
Based on the Pulsar 200NS, AS 200 gets aerodynamic half-fairing, muscular tank, extend windscreen and projector headlamp. Available in three colours, Blue, Red and Black, both AS 200 and AS150 are available for bookings.
At the launch of the new Pulsars, Bajaj also confirmed that the much-awaited Pulsar 400s will be coming to the Indian market in this financial year.
