The audio of Vijay's Bairavaa is finally ready to hit the stores. The album is likely to be released on December 20.
MS Sharavanan of Sri Green Productions, which has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Bairavaa, revealed the information about the audio launch. In an interview, he said, "The album will be most probably out on 20 December and we are planning to release the movie on 12 January."
The audio of Bairavaa was expected to be out on December 10. Later, it was said that the album would be out on the 17th of this month. The death of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is said to have made the makers reschedule the plans of the audio release.
The distributor said that the theatrical rights of Bairavaa for different regions have been sold to good distributors. "We hope that the New Year will start on a positive note," he added, claiming that the distribution rights of all the areas, except for one region, have been sold.
"Shortly, we will close the deal and I am sure of finishing the it before the audio launch," Sharavanan said. However, there is still no update on the trailer release.
Bairavaa is one of the biggest releases of 2017. The movie marks the reunion of Vijay and director Bharathan, who had earlier teamed up in Azhagiya Tamil Magan. Their first venture was a moderate hit at the box office.
Actress Keerthy Suresh, who is fast gaining popularity in the industry, has been paired opposite Vijay in the film, which also stars Aparna Vinod and Papri Ghosh in the female lead roles. The Vijaya Productions-bankrolled film features Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Rajendran, Sreeman and others in the cast.
